Change of Address Service Request

My wife filed electronically her AR-11 and a service request to change the address on a pending I-751.

Two questions:
1. How long does it take for the service request to get through the system and get to the proper file in order to have the address updated? Since we did it on the USCIS website is the process faster then if it was called into Customer Service?
2. When the address is updated on the I-751 application, would that result in a soft LUD?

EDIT: At 3pm today, I received a text message from USCIS that the case status was changed. The status said that a card was ordered. Since we only put the change of address in two days ago, is there a possibility that the card will be sent to the new address?

Update: As you can see from my signature, my wife received her GC on Saturday.

We filled the AR-11 with a service request to have the address on the I-751 updated online last Sunday night. At that time the I-751 was pending, but was approved on Tuesday, two days later. I did speak with the mailman for our old location on Tuesday afternoon regarding receiving mail from USCIS. On Thursday the case status was updated to say the post office picked up the mail that contained the card. On Friday morning, we called USCIS and asked for a tracking number for the piece of mail. The first level agent didn't have it so they transferred us to an IO. The IO said he didn't have a tracking number either so he doesn't know if it actually left the production location. However, he did say the address on file was the new address and any current and future mail from USCIS will be sent to that address.

On Friday, I checked the mail at the new address and the approval letter was in the mail. On Saturday, my wife received her new card in a letter sized priority mail envelope addressed directly to the new address.

I think the only reason the address on file was updated within 36 hours was due to the fact we filled the AR-11 online. The website did give us a service request number for the address update to the I-751 application, but it also said that it could take up to 30 days in order to update the address.
