Change of Address question

Does anyone have any experience with Change of Address? How efficient is the USCIS with actually sending correspondence to new address if a Change of Address is filed? Will they actually honor the new address or continue sending stuff to the old address?

Anyone who has actually had to do a change of address after filing N-400 please comment. Real experiences would be very valuable.

Thanks,
Kane

I don't know whether you filed the AR-11 to change your address, but even if you did, you still need to change your address with USCIS for this case specifically by either writing to them or calling customer service.

The first time I changed my address, it took them two months to update it and it was done after they were contacted by my senator's office. The second time I updated it in person and the last time I called customer service they had my new address on record.

Here is some info

We moved after filing N-400, called USCIS customer service number to update address, phone number and filed AR-11 .
Received confirmation of change of address (I-797C) in mail after 2 days at the NEW address.
All notices were sent at the new address.
Never received any e-mails from USCIS.

Wow! Congrats, man! How did you do it? Do you know some kind of BCIS secret hand shake?
