Change of address question..

Hi Experts,

I have a question on behalf of one of my friends regarding filing change of address.

He is the primary applicant for I-485 and has a dependent (his wife) on his application. After getting EAD his wife has moved to east coast to work. Primary applicant is still residing at his original place.

Now the question is : Should he call NSC and inform that a derivative
applicant (his wife) has moved? He has already filed AR-11 for her.
But, should he inform USCIS as well specifically?

If yes, how it can impact his/her I-485 case? Will it get transferred to a different service center since his wife has moved?

Thanks

Is the primary residence the permanant base for both the applicants? Where they both get their mail?

If so then there is no need to change addresses for the derivative with USCIS. Filing AR11 was the smart and right thing to do.

Thanks 140*. Yes the primary residence is where both applicants filed their applications.

Thanks for your response.

Cheers,
