Change of Address Problem

Hello everybody,

I didnot file AR-11 for the last two address changes. Is there a way to file AR-11 now. Would be there any problem on 485 processing?

Thank you.

Not many people file AR-11, because not many people know about it. But it is necessary to file AR-11 once you file I-485. So, go ahead and file it online and keep a copy of the confirmation page.

after 9/11 it is compulsory to file AR-11

I have applied 485 on July 27th 2007. I got EAD and FP appointment notice also. I already filed for current change of address, but not for the previous two address changes. Since the law has been changed after Nov 25 2002, everybody has to file AR-11. If I want to file AR-11 for the previous two, What should I write Present, Last address and at the end, what date I should put?

Is it better to call USCIS? I saw in USCIS website saying that.
"You can report your change of address by calling USCIS Customer Service toll-free at 1-800-375-5283"

Just fill the AR-11 form online and submit it. Show your last address (the address where you lived before you moved to your current address) and your current address. I think that would suffice. AR-11 is different than the address on your receipts i.e. I485, I765, I131 - for that you can call up USCIS.

Homeland Security is more concerned with your current address i.e. where you currently live.

In my case - I filled the AR-11 online and submitted the form. After one month I was going through my papers and I realized that the city and zip code mentioned in my AR-11 was not correct - so I went ahead the submitted one more form with the correct information.
