Hello all:
I am starting this thread to collate experiences of people who have moved during their naturalization process. I can think of 3 scenarios off the top of my head:
1) Move within the jurisdiction of the same District office
2)Move from one DO to another but still under the same Service Center
eg. from alexandria, VA to Rockville Maryland (my case)
3)Move from the jurisdiction of one SVC center to another (eg. from Boston to Dallas!)

Please relate your experiences and the stage your application was in when you moved, i.e. whether before/after fingerprinting was done, or after interview etc.
I will start with my experience:
Filing date - Oct 31, 2004
Priority Date - Nov 4, 2004
Called to make change of address - Nov 19, 2004 (alexandria VA to Rockville MD)
Received confirmation of address change - Dec 9, 2004

I am still waiting for my fingerprinting notice. This in spite of the fact that people who are under Baltimore DO seem to receive their FP notice within 30 days of PD

Why you dont move and just keep the address as it is, for example keep an address in virginia where u can get the mail there.

suppose that some body moved to a state for just couple of months , should this person change the addres????
