Change of address/Employment > 180 days

Hello all,

My employer filed for I-485 on Feb 2003. I-140/EAD/AP approved for myself and spouse, before 180 days. Got laid off on 183rd day. I have got a new job last week. Because of new job, I changed my residence - but still in the same state.

Is there any requirement that I have to inform INS about my change of address / change of employment? If so, will this in any way affect my GC process? Please let me know.

Thanks for the help.
SRK.

It is illegal NOT to inform INS about your change of address (file AR-11). It is very important (and helpful) to inform INS about your new employment. That will prevent a potential employment based RFE and denial in case I-140 is revoked.

Can I-140 be revoked by my old employer even after it is approved and is > 180 days? Does this have any effect on my I-485?
