Hi,
I just had a change of address. I remember i have to submit AR-11 form to USCIS.
But looks like there are two forms AR-11, AR-11SR . I wonder which form to use if i am Indian citizen.

Also what other actions should i be taking with respect to my 485 processing.

Thanks

AR-11

Did it myself. Phone USCIS to change address with the I-485 receipt number. They will automatically send you a confirmation at the new address and the confirmation will also contain a AR-11 form. You will have to do this for each pending I-485 (incl. wife and children) if they are dependants.

Hope this helps.

Yes, you not only do it for your I-485 BUT for any pending cases. (EAD,AP, etc.) You can phone to update your childrens cases if they are under 18. Your wife must do her own.

Thank you both.

I called and changed my address. I and my wife got the confirmation mail too.
Somewhere in this forum ppl suggested to send a letter to service center with list of pending applications and the change of address request too.

Now that i got the confirmation letter from uscis, is it still required to send those letters with my 485 LIN and A#?

Appreciate your inputs.

Per my knowledge 'Change of Address' has to be done via phone as well as AR11. AR11 goes to Homeland Security's central database to track all immigrants, it does not change the address on the case. For change of address on the case one must call or send a letter for change of address through the lawyer.

Change of address does delay the processing time - this is as per the letter that I received in response to my inquiry - it stated that we have received your request for change of address, and we have added more days for processing of this case.

PS Please use this information on your own risk. FYI I'm not a lawyer or a immigration specialist.

Thanks
