Hello everyone,

I submitted my medical on Oct 2005 and haven't heard back anything yet. However in the mean time, I got married and changed my address too in U.S. can someone please guide me about the procedures to inform Canadian immigration official about these changes?

Thanks in advance

Hi Kaasu,

Just write a letter to the Canadian consulate and tell them that you got married and request them to include your spouse to your existing application.

Send with this letter the following information:

1) Updated second page of Application for Permanent Residence IMM 0008,
2) Updated Additional Family Information IMM 5406,
3) Your spouse´s Schedule 1 and IMM 5406
4) Your spouse´s birth certificates,
5) Marriage certificate,
6) Spouse´s education documents,
7) Photos
8) Application fee in the amount of CAD 550 for spouse
9) Copy of passport
10) Police clearance certificate

You can get upto 5 additional points for your spouse´s level of education. Visit the following link for details:

You can also write a letter mentioning that your address has changed.
