I have a question on the consequences of a potential change of address:
My parent's I-485s were filed with the VSC in November 2001. My father's I-140 (NIW) was already approved.
In December 2002, after preliminary processing was completed, their I-485s were transferred to the New York City Office for an interview. Since then, they have renewed their EADs and APs as needed. No answer on the I-485 yet.
They are planing to move to San Francisco. Will a change of address cause their case to move? If so, will it move to San Francisco or to CSC? Would it be advisable to move now or should they wait?
