Hi Ganesh_2001
I-89 Form is the form which INS people give when you go for stamping. This form actually is for ordering your CARD also.
Now this is what my collegues have told me....
If your intension is to change your address once you see the "APPROVAL FLAG", it is the best time also to change the address....
1> Once U receive your approval immediately look for a
apartment and choose one. Take your sweet time as you can go for approval even after 2-3 weeks.
Take a EXACT note of the new address.
2> Make a Computer Printout of the new address in REAL BOLD letter absolutely no kidding here(according to my friend and collegue)
3> When you ( rather the INS officer ) fills up the I-89 form give this page with the new address and keep an eye on the address which the officer is noting on the I-89.( Make sure he notes it down correctly, (even after taking a print out of the new address with him the INS officer in San Jose CA noted the ZIP code wrong which my friend caught )
And you are all set!!!
The card will be automatically mailed to your new address.
