Change Of address After Interview

Hi everybody,

My wife stuck in the name check hole, and we had to change our address afterwards.

We did forwarding, but we worried that these kind of mail will get lost, any idea how to fix such problem? What would be the procedure to change the address? Is it AR-11 form?

One thing, what if we have to change the state, do we have to apply again?

I appreciate your feedback and help

Wish the best to all

Thanks

As a PR your wife has to send an AR-11 with 10 days after she moves.

Unfortunately that may cause delays and/or even confusion with USCIS.

Definitely she doesn't have to apply again is she moves to a different state, but USCIS should be aware of your new address.

Thanks Suzy977...

what about calling to change the address? is there any number can be called?

I believe you can call the 800 number you have on your USCIS receipt...I don't know how reliable is such a move, and anyway she has to mail the AR-11.

That's right. She has to file AR-11 for address change. However, that's not going to change her address on pending cases. For changing your address on pending cases, you must call the 800 number. And, about a week after you call them, you should receive a confirmation letter in the mail, which would indicate that the address change is done.

I believe if you schedule an InfoPass at the new DO you can make the change of address with USCIS.
