Change my wifes name to my name before Packet 3 ?

Hello :

 I recently got married and i was wondering if it is better to change
my wifes name to my last name. My lawyer advised that i could do
it before i sent my Packet 3 to the NVC.

 So my question is should i change her name or not ? What are the
issues if I plan to change it but NOT right now ?
Please advise.

Not a problem...

you can change it anytime you want. Irrespective of name you enter in the forms, they will issue visa based on name in passport.
