Change job within the same company while I485 is pending

Hi, is it safe for an EB1 (OR) applicant to change job within the same company when 180 day is not reached? I did not go through labor process so don\'t know what is my job description. It\'s going to be a different tech field but still in the same industry (software).

appreciate advices.
