Change job before Card, It's been 1.5 years

I have been waiting for my phsycaal card for 11/2 years. i got stamped on passprt 2 times. I went to localoffice with infopass, they just said they are still processing on my card, and it doesn't effect my status.
I know 11/2 years after approval with changing may be Ok.
But is it Ok to change job before actual card?

But, waiting so long is definitely not normal. I suggest you contact your Congressperson. They have better ways to inquire.

Absolutely! I was in a similar boat and had been waiting for the card for two years since the passport stamping. INS, as it was then called, was feeding me a bunch of lies and misinformation. Then I wrote a letter to one of the senators for our state. His office got involved and after that the card was ordered and arrived very quickly.
