change job before 6 months of GC approval

1. How safe is change job before 6 months of GC approval. I am desperate to change my job .
2.I forgot to surrender one of my EAD (recent one) during passport stamping. How serious it is . Do I need to go there again and tell this or it is just OK as they asks EADs as they are of no use to us. I am little worried if this can create issue in sending the plastic card to me.

I have never seen any thing which says u can not chane job for 6 months. I have seen my friends quit right after 485 approval and before getting card in hand. So not sure this is a issue at all.

Don't no #2. Just save the I94 and return if asked in future - my thoughts only

Did they ask you to surrender your EAD during passport stamping? Either ways, don't loose any sleep over it. You will get your GC in due time, nothing to do with your submitting EAD or not.
