I am working for consulting company based in san jose and
currently working on project in Sacramento-California.
My I485 and GC process is filed by my company in CSC center in Feb 2002.

Will CSC transfer my case to non CSC Center if:
1) my residence address changes to non-CSC service center due change in project location. e.g moved to east coast.
or
2) If I use AC21 to switch to new employer which is based in Non-CSC center.

Does the service center processing depends on working location
(residence) or company address who filed my GC?

Do you guys see any complications if service center changes?

Please advise. thanks.

You move your location outside CA, your service center changes. Which in 99.99% of the cases results you being in the interview queue at the new service center.

i don't think so

My company is in California(LA), Fieled my I 485 in Jan of 2002, since then i am working at Clent place in MICHIGAN(NSC). But I am getting everything from CSC. As for i know unless your comapny address changes, it does not hurt you whereever you move. Take a legal advise from your attorney.....

spouse, what I meant was, if INS knows about your address change, which could be thru your tax filings if nothing else.

Your application is based on where you live, not where your company is, I know my case my company was in San Jose but I was living in Fremont my case got transferred to SFO not SJC. And in most of the cases it depends on your home address. So if you change your address to non CSC then your application will be send to new service center.
I filed my I-485 from CSC but then I moved to Boston but I did not changes my address, I kept a valid CSC address of one of my friend in CA. And every thing went(did not) smooth though my case got transferred to local INS in SFO for interview. But that has nothing to do with my Boston move. Even at the time of interview officer did not asked me why you are in Boston and why you did not moved your application to VSC.
I know cases where they have filed the 485 from VSC but working in CA from day one.But change in address in middle of 485 may trigger transfer of application.
Change in service center means more delay and every body knows INS how efficient they are in changing address on your files. I would say don't change address but talk to your lawyer and check for your stars for your bad/good luck.

Anuup, it isn't that tough.

In plain words, if INS gets to know your address change out of state, chances of your case getting transferred to a local office based upon your new address are very high.

INS might get to know through,

a) Your W2's which it might ask for as an RFE.
b) new company
c) H1b transfer that your new company would file for.
d) whatever else you can imagine, who knows what database linkage the new DHS is gonna have.

Also, everything with INS is a probability, and thats what we talk about. The probability that INS will ever record your address change depends on a lot of things. But if they do, the probability of your case getting transferred is 99%.

Folks am I wrong??

G-28 Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Representative

should be a suitable solution to all these issues of address change etc. Better to check with your attorney. My 2 cents !!
