My lawyer messed up my initial classification. I actually fall under Electronics engr except computer (2072) but got classified as computer hardware Engr (2061). I did not understand the implications at that time. In my county i do not meet the prevailing wage (latest wage) by at least 5% for L2(old classification). If i convert to perm, can i use the new 4 level classification for prevailing wage and go for L3. My other question is i will soon enter 7th year. If i file after getting into seventh year will i get any more extension on my H1 since neither my New labor or I140 will be pending for more than 1 year at the time of renewal.
