did they pull the file (electronic file) and assigned to the officer (like putting the message in the inbox) or perhaps not assigned to the officer yet... simply put in the line to be picked up? The real status should change when the officer reads the mail in the inbox and takes an action (such as sending RFE, 2nd FP) ....
we can assume whatever we want... but the fact is that none of us know why/when "last updated" date changes.
I got the mail 4 times without any status update. Everytime they touch the file the system is generating one mail. Lot of junk mails in my inbox without any purpose
