Change in Job Responsibilities on EAD while I-485 is still in pending Status?

Hi,

Currently my job title is Senior Test Engineer and responsibilites are mainly technical and related to Testing and QA.
I got a Project Lead/Manager offer in the same company whose responsibilities are completely different from my current position.

Currrently I am on my EAD.

- Can I take the new offer ? If so will there be any issues in my GC processing?
- What are the steps/procedure w.r.t 485/GC filing I need to take ?
