I work for a consulting firm and they are separating from their Tax Practice which could have potential implications on my Green Card Processing. The time frame and the details are not yet finalized. But I anticipate that this could happen in 3-6 months. One of the options that we are told is that the company would be bought out by some other firm or by our own partners.
I have filed my adjustment of status (485) back in October and I have my EAD and the fingerprinting done. Lets suppose if my Company comes up with a new name (and if I still have my job) does anyone know the potential implications to my GC Processing. I am assuming that I\'ll get an RFE, or do I have to file for I-140 again..
Any insights would be very much appreciated.
