I have been working on L1-b visa for more than one year. One of the company is ready to file my H1B , I have the following questions:
1. Can above be done with in US without leaving country.
2. In case , I donot want to join new employer now, however want to process of my h1b to avoid H1b CAP(would join new employer after 4-5 months) . When would I be persumed for change in status from L1 to H1. Is it at the time of joining new employer or at the time of approving H1-b.
