Change from EAD to H1B

no...

As far as I know (Remember reading at one of the popular websites), one will have to apply for new H1-B in this case. The old approval is overidden when a person uses EAD. He/she ceases to be on H-1B and the only way to get back to H-1B is to reapply. Remember that this is subject to cap on H-1B. Please be careful of any pitfalls of law violation if you are trying to use old H-1B.

If u use EAD, hr H1 become invalid.

But, since u have a valid H1 - u can apply for H1 transfer and start working on H1 immidiately after u get the receipt.

U need to get a NEW H1 only if ur prev H1 had expired and u r currently using EAD.
But since u have a valid H1 - u can do a H1 to H1 transfer.

In the following post u can see some details - though a diff scenerio - regarding using H1 after using EAD.
