What if I change citizenship or have dual citizenship before my consular interview, is that okay? I'm F2B category, and wishing to acquire Canadian citizenship and will be dual citizen.
If you get it before the interview then all the better.
It's risky afterwards because if US finds out you did that you could lose US citizenship.
However the chances of US finding out is pretty remote just as long as you don't vote in any other country and you use only your US passport to exit and reenter the US.
In the interview don't offer any new information. Don't mention anything about possibly acquiring another citizenship.
