Hello,
I am a U.S. citizen, and I petitioned for my husband (a Mexican citizen) with an I-130 and I-485 filed concurrently in September 2021. Yesterday, we had our interview, which went very well. The officer informed us that they were recommending approval of the application by the end of the day and that we should receive the new card in the mail soon. We were also provided a letter congratulating us and recommending approval for the I-485.
We did both receive emails stating our case had been updated on myUSCIS but it seems to have no change. Upon checking the portal, I noticed discrepancies in the status updates:
Thank you for taking the time to read this lenghty post =)

We did both receive emails stating our case had been updated on myUSCIS but it seems to have no change. Upon checking the portal, I noticed discrepancies in the status updates:
- A letter approving the I-130 was uploaded to my account but not his. However, the status for the I-130 still shows "interview scheduled" on our myUSCIS portal and when I run the case number with "My Case Status" on their site.
- The letter we received at the interview for the I-485 is not uploaded to the portal, and the I-485 status still shows "interview scheduled."
- With that I130 approval letter uploaded, is it safe to say that application has been approved though not reflected on the site?
- What is the likelihood of the I-485 being denied after being informed by the officer at the interview that the case was approved and that we should expect the green card in the mail?
Thank you for taking the time to read this lenghty post =)
