Chances of H1 visa approval

Hi,
I applied for my H1B last week. I was previously on F1. My petition was recieved by USCIS on friday. What are the chances of my application being accepted.
Does an acknowledgement from USCIS on getting my petition mean that I am inside the cap??

You should look for the "Receipt" of the H1 application that is sent by USCIS, and this receipt says what "Date" is the application "formally" received by them. If this Date of receipt is on Friday by which I believe you mean 13th Feb, then you should be OK and your application will definately be processed in this years quota.
