Chances of 2nd RFE

Mine is a prospective employee GC case. After FP2 in 08/2004, I got RFE yesterday, one for clarifying mother's full name and missing vaccination supplement to form I-693.

What are the chances I will receive another RFE later for empl. letter OR my case transferred to local office without asking for Empl. letter.

Can I safely assume that the INS would have asked for empl. letter in this 1st RFE itself if it has the intention to verify my employement status? Can I safely assume that I can receive approval with this RFE? Am I hoping too much?


BTW, I am single. No need to transfer the case to local office to verify my marriage certificate. That is ruled out.

Can anyone throw some light on this.

I think you shold not worry for things that not happened. Don't invite unneccesory troubles , At the moment respond 1st RFE and pray God for approval, this is the best way to become worry free. This is what I guess.

2nd RFE is very rare and unusual (because adjucator goes thru whole file before sending RFE and normally the RFE for ALL the documents are sent together). Normally 2nd RFE is generated when the response from 1st RFE is insufficient/incomplete or doesn't answer all the question adjucator has, or the RFE response raises more questions.
Your RFE is simple and I don't think there will be any issue.
