Chanage Job after 180 days waiting of I-485

Please throw some light on this issue.
Is it true that new law allow the people can change Job when I-485 is pending more than 180 days?.

What is the formality, Has INS come out with Regulations?

What form we have to file when we change job after 180 days pending in I-485?

What the current employer can do? If he cancels I-140 what will happen?
Heard some big Indian Consulting companies threatening their employees that they will cancel I-140 if they change job during I-1485. Is it possible?

INS hasn\'t come up with any regulations/policies regarding this. No body knows when they are going to !!! Till then it\'s individual\'s risk to change job. I have seen few postings where people have changed and got I-485 approved. But no one knows the exact procedure though.

There may not be a web link which can give you a yes or no. As long
as you donot get a rfe for employment letter or pay stubs you will
be okay. In case INS asks for employment letter or pay stubs and
the new law has not taken effect you may have a problem. Discuss
with a good lawyer this board cannot advise on a delicate matter like this.
