Finally the wait is over as the approval mail came on 12/27.........what a relief!!!!

The info on this forum often was crucial for me to get ready for the next step in time. Otherwise there would have been significant delay on my part in responding to the RFE and it would have been extremely expensive to do things in a hurry especially things that one needs to get from one's home country. Thanks to the community on this portal that certainly makes a difference by sharing of information.

Your RFE date was the same as mine - I had a feeling (and hoped) you'd get approved soon. The retrogression would not have affected you since you are EB2 and have a PD in '01, but its sure nice to be able to celebrate New Years with a 485 approval!

H1 approval notice up to some period after 485 filing and EAD approval for the rest of the period.
