I sent my N-400 application to Texas center by Certified Mail. I looked the US postal site and it says that a notice has left. I am wondering if I can send a certified mail to a P. O. Box address. Any advice or experience would be appreciated. I am worried abt my application now. Thanks :)

You should be fine as I believe number of forum members have sent it by certified mail..

I sent my application by USPS Express mail without signature confirmation... So basically works as overnight mail without the need of signature confirmation...which I believe will serve all the purposes ie faster delivery/with tracking/no signature confirmation required

Thanks Kash

Kash,

Thanks a lot. I was worried since no one replied and I was thinking that I made a bad choice, instead of priority mail with delivery confirmation.

I think First Class regular mail is just fine. I don't see the purpose of sending Certified or Priority Mail the application. The best receipt of delivery is your cancelled check.

If you receive a delivery confirmation and they don't cash your check and don't take any action on your case what you going to do? Sue them?

In my opinion the only purpose of Delivery Confirmation is to know a few days in advance (before the bank operates your check) that you application was received...waste of money.

#1,

I sent my application using Express Mail (next day delivery with no signature waiver). It was dropped off at the PO box on Monday with a notice. On Tuesday it was signed for, and picked up by INS.
No need to worry about mail delivery. I would wait for the check to be encashed.

GOod luck!
