CEAC Data for DV2013

Do anyone know when DV13 CEAC data publish? This year or last year? The reason of asking is that I wanted to start compiling CEAC data for DV14 and see what is going on in DV14. If we have those data it will help to understand better why after 4 months of VB, the cut off still very slow.

Whether we have high success rate or high turn up for interview? One of the most important number is how many already have their interviews and how many visa issued so far.

The CEAC data is updated a couple of weeks after the end of the month - so it may be updated later next week or the week after. They don't publish the data in the form that Raevsky has obtained - he got that by writing and using a script to interrogate the Ceac status checker.

Yes, I know how it works. Will check on end of the month and hope can get some data for analysis.

That would be good. Do you have a script yourself? I would be interested in the results from 2013 to see why the data Raevsky published seems to be incomplete.

Didn't mean to teach my grandma how to suck eggs by the way - I know you know more than the average person - just not sure if that covered the IT processes or not...

I don't have the script. But if needed, I can build one or use some open source tool. It just a screen scraper tool but have to be careful of IP tracking, it will prevent any data pulling bots. Anyway, once the data is out I will work on it.

If I really do not have an interview at end of the fiscal year, I still want to know why. :)

If you don't get an interview if will be because the quota was filled before they reached your case number... I'm not sure what other "why" there can be?

Is there any update regarding the delay this year , hope to have it in march like last year but I doubt to reach even may if the situation, can u guys estimate what is happening there ,

There have been a couple of theories as to why there was little progress in the latest bulletin (for all regions, not just Asia). I think the most credible theory (from Sloner - amazingly) is that the government shutdown caused delays in scheduling as many of the KCC staff are contractors and would have been furloughed during the shutdown. I like that theory because it was a temporary problem that has been resolved and they can easily catch up over the next couple of months. For that reason I expect to see big advances in the next month or two - and AS5000 must therefore still be a good possibility for March interview.

I don't want to sound optimistic but if Feb is the month to start the sprint, you can even get your interview in Feb. I do hope your interview is in Feb so others will have their interviews much earlier. :)

Let hope for the sprint in Feb for all regions.
