I dont know if im in the right thread to post this question but I need to clarify this issue.
As you know, when you have been illegal in the US and you received your appointment to adjust in your country, you need to present a waiver to the consulate, my question is: do you need to wait until you are already in your country to hire an attorney and make the waiver or can you started it here in the US and the take it to the country where you are going to adjust?
Please let me know if I am confusing you, or let me know what do u know about this.
