I was working with Company A while Company B applied for my H1-B approval as a straight petition and not as a transfer of the H1-B from company A. I received my approval notice recently (I-797). However, it has a caveat in it mentioning that the consulate in Chennai has been informed of my approval.
However due to appointment availability constraints I will be going to the consulate in New Delhi for my H1-B stamping. Do you think there is an issue with this? Also, are the systems in all the US consulates in India not integrated?
