Case with an officer with a decision pending within 2 weeks

My ND for I485 is Nov 2002.

My case was stuck at name checking and FBI confirmed that the result was cleared last month.

Today, my lawyer contacted a congressman and the congressman office contacted VSC. VSC acknowledged that they received the name checking clearance and my case is with an officer with a decision pending within 2 weeks.

Sometime last year, prior to my name checking was done, VSC also told the congressman office that my case was with an office and asked me to wait for 60 days.

Don't know if this time the 2 weeks carries more weight than previous 60 days. Anyone has similar experience ?

Looking at your case my best bet is I think you are ok as far as name checks are concerned... This is my view ... I may be wrong !!!!!

I had almost the same history ....checked last week of Dec calling USCIS..was told that everything was ok ..should wait till adjudicator picks up my case.... last Friday I got my name check cleared...

Conclusion: I think take info from USICS reps with a pinch of salt
