Case Transferred

HI all,

When I checked AVM today, it says that my case transferred to Arlington, VA to
schedule and conduct an interview. AVM also says that scheduling can take several
months (makes me frustrated). Does anybody in same situation?
Could someone give me info on this.

- How long I have to wait to get an interview?
- What kind of questions I can expect?
- What documents I need to take with me for interview?
- Is it necessary to go along with attorney for interview?

My details are:
PD 10/98 , ND 10/99, FP 03/01, EB2, INDIA, company name changed.
RFE issued on 04/21 for Empl Letter, spouse birth certificate received on 04/27,
RFE replied on 04/27 via Fedex, AVM updated for RFE on 05/03
Transferred to Arlington, VA on 5/18 according to AVM

I am not exactly sure but cases being transferred to
Baltimore office usually takes about 2-3 months before
receiving interview appointment.

So maybe it might be the same for Arlington, VA.

They say, basically, they ask you about your job.
What do you do? etc.

Along with your interview appointment letter, a list
of documents needed to be presented, will be enclosed.
They say it is better to bring your lawyer, just in
case. But in most cases, the lawyer doesn\'t get
to talk at all....

Best of luck to us all! My case was transferred to
Baltimore last Apr 27 and my ND is 10/12/00 and FP is
12/26/00. Although, I fear it may take longer this time
for us because a lot of cases are being transferred to
Baltimore which could mean a delay due to increase in
their workload.
