Hello All,
I just received a notification from USCIS stating that my I-485 case has been transferred to the San Francisco local office.
My receipt number is WAC04xxxxxxxx, and my I-140 and I-485 were filed in March-2004 (my I-140 got approved in Jan-2005; original GC application was filed in Oct-2001 in California).
Here is what the notice looks like:
*************************
On January 26, 2005, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in SAN FRANCISCO, CA for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in SAN FRANCISCO, CA will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case. If you need further information, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.
*************************
What are the current wait times at the Sa Francisco office and when can I expect the interview schedule notice? What happens during/after the interview. Please advise.
Thanking you all in anticipation.
