It may take somewhat 2 months to 6 months. Its a matter of luck.
My friends case was transferred to San Jose on 22nd Feb, 2003 (ND 9th April, 2002) and her interview on 5th Jun, 2003. Same day approval for the entire family... lucky she........me filed before her but still waiting in line for almost 21 months now.....

Her total process from EB1 category (I-140 filed in mid dec., 2001 approved mid-Feb, 2002. I-485 ND 9th April, 2002, approved in Jun, 2003...........Lucky her

SJC is better than SFO...

you could get your interview scheduled in 5 months, compared to 9 months in SFO. Check the district offices processing times on the INS website.

good luck !

tt_tt,

I looked up on the USCIS website and I did not find the processing times for the field offices.
If you already know, can you post the URL?

Thanks

District office processing times

I just pulled San Jose processing times. What does this mean?

Current processing date

I485 Application to Adjust to PR: May 09 , 2003

My ND is : Dec 05 2001

Does district office processing time has anything to do with interview scheduling?

Usually 2 to 3 months in San Jose and that is better than SFO 9- 12 months good luck with your interview.

So they are looking into Dec cases.
