Case Transferred to Newark NJ.

CSC Voice message states that " On March 27th 2003, we transferred your I-485 case, Application to adjust to permanent residence status to our office in Newark and Teterboro NJ for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in Newark & Teterboro NJ will notify you when they schedule your interview or take further action on your case.

If you need further information call 973-645-4400. "

My case details
RD 9/2001
ND 9/2001
RFE July 2002.
Replied July 2002.
Case transferred 3/27/2003.

Any idea how long will it take for a SC to schedule an interview?
If anyone from Newark with details?

Also what documents may be asked for?

The website info has not change.

I wonder why INS transferred your case to Newark-NJ.

Did your residence address changed from California to NJ.

Same address.

From the time I filed my 485 I have not changed my residence.
My residence changed after I-140 and before 485.
I am also not sure why my case was transferred.

Awaiting more details from lawyer and CSC.

More confused than ever as three employees filed for 485.
One got GC withour RFE. Another after REF. I received RFE along with second. More unsure as to why case got transferred to Newark.

Don't worry. I heard Newark INS with send you appointment within 6 weeks at the most 2 months. Take a look at Newark interview thread in VSC for more details.
