Case Transferred to Newark, NJ

Hi All,

My I-485 was filed on July 14th, 2003.

I got myself and my wife fingerprinted as of Sept27th, 2004.

The Vermont center received my fingerprints on Oct 6th,2004.

I reced. a letter from them on Dec 9th, 2004 stating that as of Dec 7th they transferred my case to the Newark office to schedule an interview.

My i-485 is based on future employment and i have changed my jobs since i was on EAD. is this the reason why they have called me for an interview?

How long would it take considering the holiday season?

Any help in this matter would be appreciated.
 
Did u send them any documentation that u have changed the jobs?

It may take 6 months or more to get an interview set up at newark

Hi Ajay1706,
Did you get any interview letter or anything till date from Newark, NJ. My date of transfer is 30th Dec 2004. It would be great if we can update our cases as and when we hear from them.
