Approved on Sep 14th after Interview in Pittsburgh Office....!

Hello Freinds,
My Application was approved after the interview in Pittsburgh office on Sep. 14th.

Officer asked for EVL,
My LAst H1B.

After that he went through my file and stamped. He was really nice .

The whole process took about 30 minutes.

TD: June 24th 2004.
AD: Sep 14th 2004.

I wish you all best of luck....!

Thanks

rGC,
Congrats! Did you take a lawyer with you? Do you have a spouse, and if so, were they transferred with you?

Its also amazing that you got approved on the last day that your fingerprints were still valid. One more day, and you would have had the delay of having to do your fingerprints a second time.

Hi, Curious George

I think we are in the exact same boat, My case was transferred to Miami
on July 13 2004 according to USCIS website. I made a infopass appointment
last friday in Miami and found that my case was received by local office on
August 9 2004, which means it took 30 days to complete the transfer.

Anyway, during the appointment, that officer basically doesn't want to
give me any help except saying be patient.

This morning I called CIS national 800 number and made a case inquiry.
Have you done the same thing, if so, did it work for you?

Best wishes to all of us

I've given up on the 800 number, especially since my case is transferred to the local office, and the 800 number has no visibility to those cases.

My fingerprints are expiring soon, so I'm going to try to use that to my advantage.

The second reason I'm going is to inquire a second time about why my wife's case has not been transferred.

I guess I have many questions I plan to share with them....although realistically I am expecting the same answer you got....its more for my own theraputic purposes I guess. (I need to bother them in order to keep myself from going crazy.)

Actually I just realized wolfman's fingerprints were already expired, and they approved his case anyway. (obviously I didn't have my morning coffee before doing the math) I would have expected them to ask for a second set of fingerprints.

I didn't take my Lawer with me.

I had to redo my Finger prints 2nd time. from the Local office.

I got my 2nd Fringer Prints notice after the file transfered to Local Office.

They asked to bring my wife along with me but the officer said since I'm the principle applicant he doesn't need my wife in the interview.

They never updated my Wife's AR 11 so we didn't get her 2nd fringer prints notice.Yesterday he asked us to get finger prints done for my wife. Once he gets the finger prints then he will approve the file.
( I did ask the officer how come my wife file is not updated where as they update mine. He said it happens all the time with the contractors who work on these files.)

We gave her finger prints yesterday. so we are waiting on her file now.

rGC,
Thanks for your answers! Keep us posted on the progress of your wife's case. I'm curious how much longer it will take for her's to be approved.
