Case Transferred to another office

On friday 2/22/08 I received an email from CRIS stating that my I-485 cases ( Both me and my wife's) have been transferred to another offce (NSC) for processing. I can't understand why the hell would they do that. I am from Texas and TSC should have jurisdiction on my case. Infact my EB1-EA-140 was also approved from TSC while my NIW-140 is still pending at NSC since nov 2006. I just hope that they didnt link my 485 case to my pending NIW instead of the EB1-EA?
Guys how can I find out, and what should I do about it? I dont want to sit back at NSC for the rest of my life?

This happend to another guy in this forum, but they did not tranfer rather replied that he/she does not have the visa numbers. Give them a call immediately.

I can't withdraw at this moment as I don't really know to which 140 have they linked my 485. When I call they tell me that when its time to look at 485, they will send me an RFE to ask which 140 I want to consider ( as if its not obvious to them). I asked them can they do it right now instead of that long wait and they say NO.
Otherwise I am ready to withdraw my NIW application if I get a clear answer.

That would be risky since your 485 has been linked to NIW( according to IO), they may deny your I485 once you withdraw. Then you have to open MTR. Just send them letters every alternate week.
