Case Transfered to Philadelphia

Hi everyone,

I am the primary 485 filer, A month ago, My wife called VSC to know the status of the case, the officer told her that we will receive a letter within a month about the status of the case, today we received the letter addressed to my wife saying that her case has been transferred to philadelphia office on Jan 30,2004.
Now We are very confused about two things, first I don't know if they transferred just my wife case or my case and my daughter's case too, second is that why the case is transferred to philadelphia, for us, the local office is newark, and not philadelphia. I have no idea what to do. Please post your view.

It may be a new trend where the 485 cases are getting transferred to any local office to ease the workload without sending any notice to the applicant, We came to know about transfer only after making a enquiry, otherwise the case was transferred long time back according to the notice.

Did the online message change? or what was it?

According to the notice, case was transferred on Jan 30,2004.

There is no change in on-line mesage, it is still the same.
