Any friend can give me suggestion how to inform or request INS for my case transfer when I move from NSC region to TSC region?
Detail:
EB21, NIW case 2003, 2 approved
I-485, 2003, 4 submitted
FP, 2003, 6
I will transfer from Chicago to Atlanta.
Question:
My case will be transferred to TSC or Atlanta local office?
How to contact INS telling this change?
Thank you very much for advising me.

your dates are not very clear (2 approved??) and 4 submitted????

Please look at some other posts for typical date formats. As far as case transfers, I dont know if there is any particular reason that one can pinpoint. Criminal backgrounds, recent marriage, employer change, Failed Fingerprints and whimsical BCIS officers are all probable causes with the whimsical officer being the most likely cause. There is no guarantee that your case will be transferred or that it will not. Luck plays a major role, although right now case transfer may result in quicker apporval than NSC, which is stating 900 days for processing time on the receipt notice.

you may be right

maybe I'm confused... maybe its TSC that has 900 days. Check NSC forum for more accurate info. it's a moot point for me since I have been waiting 800 + due to Chicago Xfer

You do not decide whether your case gets xferred. BCIS does. You will get a notification if your case gets Xferred.... You have just submitted your I485. nothing is going to happen for at least 6 - 8 mos..... Several threads in this forum have discussed possible reasons for case Xfer... I dont know if anyonme knows a single reason why..... See the Chicago Local Xfer interviews thread for possible causes
