Case transfer...

Hi, guys

I am in NJ, my case was transfered to Newark last week. Want to know about following stuff:
1. How long it would spend to schedule a interview in NJ? The message just said that it could take several months to do, is it true?
2. What I should bring with me during the interview?
3. Are they gonna do the decision the same day?
4. What kind of questions they are gonna ask?

Thanks a lot! Really worry about it, for might be laid off soon.

Not to upset you...but, from what I have observed on this board it might take a while to get the interview call for transfer cases. So it could take about 4-6 months or even more.

It is all the more important for you to hold onto your current job if you get a interview call. You will haveto show pay stubs, tax returns, W2 etc..

So I would suggest to try and request with your employer to keep you on job even on reduced salary (Preferably not below the amount specified in LC).

In case you can\'t convince the employer, try and get a job with similar job description ASAP.

Could you please post your PD, RD, ND and category please. So that we can also prepare for any eventualities.

My friend case was transferred to Newark in October He got his interview in December
