Hi there!
I have a problem but before I would like to tell you some words. I've lived in Mexico more then a year for now but I thought that I will go back to Russia by October 2009 to have my interview there. That is why in the DPS-122 I put Moscow, Russia. But that happend that I'm not able to go to Russia in October so I wrote an e-mail to KCC asking them to change the post back to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico (by default they already put me to the Juarez in the first letter). So they asked me to send they an email with my new and former mailing adress (don't know what for). But i did a mistake and didn't put the complete former adress (they sent me an e-mail that the adress is not coplete). So I send them the complete adress and receive the auto-confirmation. Today I called to KCC to ask if they changed the post from Russia to Mexico and he told me that that didn't coz they didn't received my mail (that is weird coz I've got the confirmation). By now they have already set up that appointment in Russia. And he told me that if I want to change it then I have to call or write to Moscow and ask them to transfer the case to Juarez. I did so but haven't received the answer from Moscow yet. So now I think can I do something else about it and could it cause any problems on interview. Thanks.

Would you tell us more about your case? Are 2009 or 2010 DV winner and when your CN is current . If already current, did you receive the 2nd NL or not yet?
 
You should first till KCC reply to your mail. Usually they will answer in couple of days(two to three days).If your papers are still in KCC, then you have the chance to change the place.But if your papers already out,then in this case you have to wait till your papers reaches Moscow and ask to transfer your case to Juarez.
As far as I know, papers are sent out couple of days after become current, so you have to act fast before they are out.
Anyway, you have the whole year(from 1st of Oct 2009 to 30 Sept 2010).So you have plenty of time. Do not worry much.!
 
KCC can't act now anymore coz they have already scheduled tha interview. I've send e-mail to Juarez asking them to reques my case from moscow. Waiting.
 
It's too early to panic. There is more time for the transfer to take place. When transfering a case, it's advisable to write a letter and post or fax it to the consulate rather than using email.
 
I did so. Send them an e-mail. But can they say "no. go to moscow. we don't want to accept u here"?

They can act if your case still at KCC. It happened for me ,it was four days after my CN become current. I gave them a call ,and asked when and where my interview will be. I was surprised becuase the interview place they told me was different from what I wrote in forms,so I asked them to change it and they told me better to send email.I received confirmation of changing the place of interview within one hour.I was lucky becuase my case was still in KCC,although the told me paper are out to pickup by postal service.
I think,good option is to give a call rather waiting the reply as it will take couple of days.
 
Well, i will be able to call only in Monday then. But when I asked the guy if I can rescheduled my appointment he said no, because appointment already was scheduled.
 
It doesn't matter the date,for you the most important is place.For me,they changed the place but kept the same interview date.

i transfered my case from Asmara to Kenya once it was all set. i mean, i was told to attend the interview in Asmara. I contacted the embassy and asked them to transfer my file to Kenya and they did in 3 days. once kcc sets the date and sends the post out, its up to the embassy to deal wit it.
