Case transfer to phoenix

Hi All,

My case was transferred to phoenix local INS office.

My I-485 details

ND: 02/2001
RD: 03/2001
RFE: 06/2002 (DOB)
RFE: 07/09/2002 (Reply RFE)

Today (Aug 6th 2002) I heard that my case was transfered to phoenix office.

Anybody's case transferred to Phoenix?

How long it will take?

I called INS Customer Service Call Center (1-800-375-5283) to ask how long is the interview line in Phoenix, and they said, I have to wait atleast 27 months (from the day they receive it) just for an interview! Am I missing the point?

Hi Reddy,
Phoenix is one of the worst INS office . I would say they take around 30 months from ur notice date. I might be wrong but I think you can call the INS office in phoenix and find out.
 
Hi Reddy, did you ever received interview call or are you still waiting.

Can you please let me know. My case is also pending at PHX office .
 
My case got approved and my wife's case got transfered in August
2002. We went to INS office few weeks ago just to make sure they have our case . They told us they have our case and right now they are processing cases in June 2000. My 485 receipt date is August 2000 and they told me that it will take atlease 6 months to get an interview.

Can you share more info please? RD/ND and transfer Date?

I think this site should have a separate area of transfer cases. Or maybe we can create a yahoogroup for phoenix transfer cases.

What do you guys think?
