Hi,

any responce is appreciate. I filed my documents for Canada - March 2005 in Buffalo. In Sptember I got a notice from the Canadian Consular in Buffalo to take IELTS.I took it with a good grade 7.5 in all areas which means the full amount of points.I work in the USA already 4 years so I was surrpriced why they request evidence of my English proficienci but as I mention I did good. In february 2006 I got an email that my case was transfered to Los ANgeles Canadian Consular center.Since then NOTHING.I wrote e'mails asking if they got my file etc. NOTHING.
My question is any in similar situation and also any tip is the transfer a good thing or bad?!
Thank you.

They don't respond to most of the emails, one time they told me that if they keep responding all the emails, the entire process will slow down...etc.

They will review your case one more time and will let you know the interview date(if in case interview required). Some times they may waive the interview.

If you are interested, you may order CAIPS notes to see what flag triggered your interview. If you don't know about the CAIPS notes, please search this thread, there are lot of post on this topic.

Hi
Don't know if transfer to local consulate is good or bad but as usual LA sure is slower than NY or Seattle (just read in another thread that somebody with AOR July 2005 got his/ her IA case was transfered to Seattle in June 2006). I think getting IA out of LA seems to be based on not only AOR date but also when the file was transferred. Mine was transfered in March 2006, AOR May 2005
hope you get yours soon
