Case Tranf. to Chicago Office

I've received the e-mail today frm USCIS that our case has been transferred to Chicago Local Office..bla bla bla.. and now I am wondering how long does it take the case to be approved there? I was going thru some posts regarding being transferred to local office and about their files sitting there for months..I am so horrified.. any one in the same situation?? DOes it really take months after being transferred to the local office ? BTW, my I-485 ND is April-2003.

For me it took around 3 months to get the interview letter after the local office transfer. Other details in my signature...
