Hi!

My I-140 was approved on 11/22/04. But, still my case wasn't created.
I'm in California, and my category is EB3.
I saw another case also was not created, and one case has been created recently after 4 months later since I-140 was approved.

Is there anybody whose case was created in NVC recently from CSC? or from other service center?

I just wish everyone - like me to share theire informations through this site.
Thank you

What steps,if any, have you taken to find out why your case has not yet been created at NVC? Have you called NVC and talked to any live person? If yes, what reply did you get?

If you have an attorney, whats he/she doing about it?

I called to my lawyer. But, he said what he could do now is to send a letter to CIS.
And, I called to NVC, but they said they could do nothing casue they didn't received my case yet. I tried to call to CIS, but there is automatic voice messege. Where should I call to CIS except 1-800-375-5283?

Thanks

If NVC has not yet received your case file yet from CSC, there is nothing much you can do about it except to wait. Lawyers stick to their own belief that too much inquiry with USCIS will not be good for the case nor for their reputation at USCIS.

There is NO way that YOU can contact CSC.Do not call the National Customer Service at the 800 number as it would not be of any help and do not call NVC either as they cannot do anything if CSC does not send them the file.

The best and only option for you is,contact your top and very influential congressman's/woman's office and tell them you need help with your immigration case.

Talk to them nicely and politely, explain to them the situation - tell them that your I-140 has been approved 4 months ago and you need their help ONLY in moving the case file from CSC to NVC, and they will certainly help.

I too had wasted a long time for things to happen automatically(4.5 months infact) and when I saw the hopelessness of the situation, I decided its time for me to do something - I dont care if anyone gets offended in the process. Its MY life.

In exactly 2 weeks from the day I contacted my local congressman's office,my case got created at NVC. And I am 99% positive that it was due to them, that CSC sent the case file to NVC.

CSC, I believe in some cases, is notorious in these kind of mess ups and playing with people's lives.

Do not sit there and hope that CSC will send the file ( I committed the same mistake).
