Case Status Update (Asylum)

I was interviewed on June, 29. Two weeks later I come to USCIS office for decision and they tell me that officer hasn't made a decision yet and that I will get it by mail. I asked how long it's gonna take. They were like We don't know.
This uncertainty is just killing me.
So, how can I request my case update from USCIS?

yes send case status letter every month to the asylum office.

it can take a month to 9 months to receive final decision.

isnt interview decision is only take 2 week max?
cause i got letter from em 1 week, and they told me to get the result 1 week later

Is there any specific FORM for such request?
Or I can just write, for example: ...guys I'd like to know what is my current case status and bla bla bla...:confused::confused:

Well, in most cases it takes maximum 2 weeks. But sometimes more (like in my situation) and I have no idea why

THERE IS NO SUCH MAX OR MIN.

I ALREADY ANSWRED U, I AM EXPERT IN ASYLUM LAW AND PROCESS .
U either have to keep waiting regardless of how long for their decision or you can just keep sending CASE STATUS CHECK leter to ur local asylum office every month, not weekly, but you will keep getting replies that are WE ARE STILL PROCESSING somehting.

i know it frome xpereice of 3 people
