case status online

I got my NOA yesterday, but when I tried to check the online status, it always says the receipt number doesn't exist. I used the MSCxxxxxxxxxx number. anyone knows why? thks.
 
i don't no dude,
i have similar situation, i got my I-485 fringer prints and Interview letter, but my online case status never updated. i was checking my email every hour to see, but never happened.
i guess we shouldn't have too much faith on online status.
any other thoughts?
 
Don't worry about it, I had the same thing first time I got NOA, I was worry why it's not online. It will show up eventually. Mine took about 3-4weeks before I could check it online
 
Same situation here. I receivedc the receipt notice on aug 11th and since then i cannot see i -485 status. it sayd it doesnt exist. Since then i had my AOS interview and FP done. Guess there is nothing we can do.If anyone knows how we can get this fixed pls help

if u get everything done, there will be no bother to keep eyes on online status.
but for those who haven't done their interviews, should make a inforpass if necessary
 
Zhm-- same situation I got the NOA yesterday and the same shit with the site. Also I have a question. I filed my I-130 , 485 and EAD . but got only I-130 in the mail. Is that the norm and when does the other forms come in ?
 
I dont think you need to worry

I mailed 4 applications, but only got 3 NOA even though all the 4 checks have been already deposited. I think the other one will arrive soon. But the online status thing is really annoying.
